M1000: New Folder on SMS

I have asked Orange and HTC and no-one seems to be able to be able to tell me:

a) how to create new folder under SMS (in order to save old texts) or

:D how to drag and drop into ActiveSync, where you CAN set up new folders

How did you get on with this?

I've been told that a vast number of features on the m1000 have been 'locked' and may not be changed .. ?? Seems a shame to me, its such a great device, with such poor support from Orange - I've been trying to install the MMS rom for ages, its been three weeks now and still no joy .. !!
