Xbar shortcuts order

Is it possible customize the order of the shortcuts in Xbar?

For example I want the notepad.lnk before Paste.lnk. and Shift.lnk...

Ok,but if i move down the Action button,the menu scrolls down and I see the open tasks.

I want to change the sequence of the programs.

I make an example using your screenshot;I would like to move back the "beta player" link and move forward the "calculator" link...

If you're using Xbar 2...

1. Sync phone to PC then open \Storage\Program Files\xbar2\start using ActiveSync. You will find numbers (links) inside : 0, 1, 2, 3 etc. The numbers are actually the order of appearance on the Xbar menu. Always begin with 0.

2. Create a backup of these links. Cut-paste to your PC.

3. Open installation folder of the program you wished linked in Xbar, create a shortcut (LNK) then paste to \Storage\Program Files\xbar2\start

So for example:

If I create shortcut to calc.Exe (\windows\calc.Exe) , name the shortcut 0 then copy to \Storage\Program Files\xbar2\ , it will appear at the left most portion of the icons list.

Another example is Shortcut to Papyrus.exe (\Storage\windows\Papyrus\Papyrus.exe) , when renamed to 1 will be positioned to the right of calc

From the screenshot...shortcut to Betaplayer is link 2, and quickapp is link 3.

Easy isn't it? Gotta love Xbar2 :D

1)Is it possible change the icons of the links?

Because i don't like the icons of Shift.lnk,Selectall.lnk and Paste.lnk(same icons of unknown application in Windows)

2)Is overwriting xbar.bmp and xbar.ini the only way to change skins,or do you know other ways?

1. I dont know where to look for the icons you mentioned. Are you using Xbar1 or Xbar2? As far as I know, the links/shortcuts behave as ordinary links to exe files, thus it will show the icon of the exe it links.

2. If you are using Xbar1, there are a couple of Xbar Skins at the airfgev site. On Xbar2, I still use the default skin. Its all in the ini and bmp I guess.

I use Xbar 2.5.

However I don't have problems with all the programs icons,but just with Shift,Selectall and Paste.lnk( that are links included in Xbar,I didn't create them).

You have to manually create links to other programs. I have tried only 4 shortcuts.

All of us have been 'newbies' :lol:

The max number of shortcuts it's 7.

After 7 links it doesn't visualize me any others.....

I went the folders I created under windows\startmenu and cut/pasted my shortcuts from there into the XBar folder and they work as well. Sweet.
