Guest ebswift Posted February 4, 2005 Report Posted February 4, 2005 (edited) I released an update to my freeware Smartphone dictionary/thesaurus program this morning and it adds a lot of features to its previous incarnation. You can get more info and download from ebswift.com. For those not familiar with WordNetCE-SP, it's a comprehensive dictionary/thesaurus for your Smartphone based on WordNet from Princeton, with added advanced search features and colour-coded, formatted search results. There are several other ports you may be interested in on my site as well. Available searches are: wildcard, regular expression, anagram, scrabble and 'sounds like' (*sounds like is for super-fast devices only). Each word search also presents a number of complex relationship search options which really let you get to the bottom of what you're looking for. If you know a general term, but want a better word, then keep digging into the relationships and you'll get every related term there is. Although this is my first and only ever Smartphone program, it really does compete with the commercial stuff. All I ask for is a small donation from the button on my site to help pay for running and development costs, but if you can't afford that it doesn't matter - it is fundamentally freeware. You can test the same features online as you get with the downloaded program by visiting WordNetASPNet, my online dictionary/thesaurus. It has pretty-much the exact same feature set, right down to the colour-coding and formatting. Enjoy this release, and please give me feedback in the forum on my site or reply here. Visit ebswift.com for more info. Edited February 4, 2005 by ebswift
