I have put together a small profiles app for the PPC. Its simple and light but does do the sync with outlooks appointments.

Im still looking at what functionality should be in it. Having said that its got to remain lightweight and uncomplicated for my users.

So the final version will have a few of the more requested things and all the things we cant live without.

MS Voice Command allows you to change the ring option at the touch of a button and a simple voice command... "Ringer: Off"!

is there a help file with the registered version?

what is the box below 'busy' and meeting' ie inside Trigger on

does the box 'demo version' slightly slow the change from one profile to another or is the registered version quicker?

I havent puut together a help file Im sorry. The box in the trigger section is a freeform text area that if used will trigger a profile switch by searching the outlook appointment category for any occurance of that sub string.

eg if you typed in sales the auto mode would trigger on outlook appointments with a category of sales or sales meeting etc

I agreee that PPCProfiles is slow to change when using a profile with bluetooth options set. Its in the screen refresh as the program has to wait for windows to return from running the option.

The next update will fix this.

I modified the Pro version to do processes like this in the background. The device will still take just as long but it looks like its faster beacuse the screen updates. Bit of an optical illusion :D

On another unrelated issue

with this operating system many of us would receive sms text messages and outlook emails - is there a program that can create a shortcut to the text inbox and another to the email inbox etc etc?? Has anybody seen/found a program that will dial the phone number in any text messages (not the senders number - the number in the text on the screen)??

Yes all registered users get free updates of my products for the life of the product. Free support on htese types of apps too.

The new update will be out in a couple of days for PPCProfiles. It addresses a few critical issues for users of wm2003se. Just waiting on feedback for the fix in the Pro version.
