Guest acem77 Posted February 4, 2005 Report Posted February 4, 2005 when i 1st got my phone at some point the remove program list went empty. what a pain..... so i did the software reset that put my phone back to all the original settings. lost every thing. i setup from the beginning. the program remove list was back. i have 20+ programs back on my phone the list was working up till now and its gone again... so basically i cant remove programs correctly any more. i want to know if something can be done to get the list back? the last thing i installed on my phone was the pocketmusic demo. wanted to get .ogg/shoutcast streams to work. it did not play the streams tried beta player it did. i went to go uninstall pocketmusic and my remove program list was gone... i know i had pocketmusic on my phone the 1st time the remove program list disappeared. i think it may be the problem
Guest chucky.egg Posted February 4, 2005 Report Posted February 4, 2005 I think you can still remove apps via ActiveSync on your PC. Disappearing "Remove Programs" was an old problem, and I've never experienced it - I think it used to be related to the number of apps you had installed (anything over ~30+ meant you lost your list). Try a search cos I know somebody else had it and they may have found a solution
Guest Disco Stu Posted February 4, 2005 Report Posted February 4, 2005 I don't think a solution was ever found, but chucky.egg is right in that the full list will still appear in ActiveSync's Add/Remove Programs tool.
Guest acem77 Posted February 4, 2005 Report Posted February 4, 2005 (edited) thanks for info on using active sync. i removed pocketmusic with it. counting pocketmusic that would have been 50 programs on my phone.. so 49 programs is the limit for the mpx220/ms2003 to test i added one more game after the removal of pocketmusic. i lost the remove program list again...
