O2 Xphone Chinese to English

i have a O2 Xphone here that belongs to my wifes father...

he purchased it off ebay and unfortunetly it has the chinese rom in it

is there anyway to change it to the english rom?

as there is still things after you change the language to english that still show up in chinese ie the bluetooth setup area i cant read and need to to get this Bluetrek G2 working with the phone

is there a way to do it without havign to go into the bonded devices menu?

you could try running the latest orange uk c500 rom found at http://web.orange.co.uk/yourphone/spvc500/...l?id=sm_1137635

You may have to enter the bootloader by holding power and record button when you switch the phone on, then put phone in cradle and run update

if i try this rom update and if somthign goes pear shaped and it wont boot can it be recovered?
