C500 / Jabra 250 headset problem

when i make a call or recieve a call through the handsfree i've noticed that there is a slight pause between when the phone is answered and when i can hear the person. usually i can hear the person speaking through the phone not the headset, then all of a sudden the headset takes over.

I looked at the phone and found that during calls at the start the headset icon disappears and then reappears within 2-3 secs. This is proving highly annoying to me, and to people that phone me.

Is anyone else having this problem? If so how can it be fixed?
