Guest EddyP Posted February 6, 2005 Report Posted February 6, 2005 Hi everyone, I have a C500 and a Jabra 250 Bluetooth headset. I have paired the devices and can use them quite happily. However, as far as I can see, there is no easy way to connect/disconnect the headset. For example: If the headset is not connected and a call comes in I will answer using the phone. If it looks like it's gonna be a long call I may then want to use the headset - but it's not connected!! In order to use it I have to then go into the settings menu and choose Bluetooth then Bluetooth then Devices then select the Headset and choose "Set as Hands Free" then return to the home screen and only then can I press the connect button on the headset. There must be an easier way - can anyone suggest an alternative?

It works nice with my SP3 I-Mate. I remember that there is a small application will quickly launch Blutooth for ur SP. if possible , I will attach it.BTToggle.CAB
Guest EddyP Posted February 9, 2005 Report Posted February 9, 2005 Yeah, I got that already but it's not really what I need. I assume the headset is set up correctly cause it works fine - it's just when I have already taken a call or something I want to connect the headset quickly. If anyone has head of this then i'd appreaciate a shout.
Guest dwhyte Posted February 11, 2005 Report Posted February 11, 2005 I have the same BT headset and I cannot get the phone to dial out using voice tags when the keys are locked. Is this something that happens with this phone? Also, when I have just got out of my car, and disconnected the headset, if a call comes in, I get a very loud ssshhhh noise from the phone like a walki-takie just before it rings. Do I have a faulty headset. Any help? Cheers dave
