M2000 Bluetooth Headset

I have read many of the threads on this topic but seem to be having heaps of trouble. I have tried 3 different headsets and seem to be getting the same problems on all of them. The latest one I have is the Sony HBH-300 I have managed to get the thing paired and on first use the thing was very crackly and almost impossible to use without irritation, I have put this down to the other Bluetooth and wireless devices I have in the house. This morning I have tried to get the phone connected to the already established headset connection but It just will not reconnect!!! i was under the impression the thing should automatically pick up and pair it self if both devices are within range of each other? Or is this normal to have to manually connect them each time you need to use them? Also has anyone discovered a wireless headset that works without disruption?

Still waiting for my M2000 to arrive, but i've read a few posts about crackly bluetooth. Apparently it's fixed by updating the bluetooth version in the rom to v1.0 - build 3500.

What version are you running?

How long have you had the M2000?

Had it about 4 months now and I suppose overall i am happy with it but there are still afew things that piss me off one of course the lack of decent accessories.

My M2000 reports the following:

Operator version: 5.12.1.139

ROM version: 1.22.22 WWE

ROM date: 09/27/04

Radio version: 1.04.00

Protocol version: 1337.35

ExtROM version: 1.12.139 WWE

Bluetooth: BT-PPC/PE Version 1.0.0 Build 2200

oh and the OS is Windows Mobile 2003 Second edition, Version 4.21.1088 (Build 14132)

Is this the latest if not where can i get the update from?
