Guest dom Posted February 6, 2005 Report Posted February 6, 2005 Hi, The MDA compact comes with the SPB GPRS monitor. I've configured it with the Monthly payment I pay for GPRS (£5 for 3Mb) and that the additioanl data price is 0.75p per Kb. When I first signed on using GPRS, I used 100Kb and instead of depleting the monthly allowance, it said that I'd spent 16p.... This seems wrong! Has anyone else set this GPRS monitor correctly, and if so how? Apologies for being thick !!! Thanks in advance. p.s. anyone using Pocket Candy (screensaver)? If so have you found any screensavers othter than the default ones?

Guest SeaneyC Posted February 6, 2005 Report Posted February 6, 2005 When i signed up at scancom it was £5 for 6mb! Where are the options to set price up etc on the MDA? I just got a counter on my ROM!
Guest inspectorgadjet Posted February 6, 2005 Report Posted February 6, 2005 I have the gprs monitor installed on my MDA III. It was also reporting a lot of GPRS usage. I contacted t-mobile to see if they had an answer. They did not. I have also now e-mailed the makers of gprs monitor and asked them what could be happening, but have not received a reply since Wednesday. In the meantime, for an accurate measurement of your gprs usage, make sure you register with the t-mobile website which gives you the exact data usage. Hopefully I'll get an answer from spb soon.

I bought my MDA Compact from Scancom and they did have 6Mb listed for £5 per month, but I assume this must be an error 'cos T-mobile definitely told me you only get 3Mb for £5
