Guest oliverv Posted February 6, 2005 Report Posted February 6, 2005 (edited) Apologies if this has been address somewhere before, i have a nagging feeling it has but i cannot find the thread despite much searching. My problem is that the phone numbers stored in my contacts seem to lose the + symbol at the start of them. They all have the international code so the caller id works (is this still necessary on the C500?) but once you lose the + you cant dial the number and have to edit it, put it back in, and then make the call.... which is a bit rubbish. Im not sure whether this happens in outlook and gets transferred to the phone whilst synching, or vice versa. Do other people get this? Is it just something i will have to live with? Thanks in advance for any assistance, even if you just point me towards appropriate existing threads. Edited February 6, 2005 by oliverv
Guest gpcarreon (MVP) Posted February 6, 2005 Report Posted February 6, 2005 How about this thread? http://www.modaco.com/index.php?showtopic=806&hl= Welcome to MoDaCo
Guest oliverv Posted February 6, 2005 Report Posted February 6, 2005 Thanks for the quick reply, i had seen that app before but i hadn't realised that it did what i wanted. Seems to have cleaned up my contacts nicely  I take it nobody knows what causes the contacts to go wrong in the first place? That app seems like an excellent cure but it would be nice to have a prevention (not least because i have recently convinced my boss to buy C500s for the company mobiles and if they cant make calls on them it could be a little embarrasing!) Thanks again.
