Guest welshgaz Posted February 6, 2005 Report Posted February 6, 2005 Hi all. I'm having real problems getting yahoo mail to work on my c500. I'm paying for yahoo extra so theres no problems with sending and picking it up from my laptop, but I just can't get it to work from my phone. I've searched all over the net and the other topics on the forums here and just can't find a thing. Where do there server settings go? I know its not IMAP, and I can't find anywhere forPOP3 settings. It worked fine on myold mpx200. Otherwise, what a great phone! Starting to play with registery now - maybe too confdent!! Please help me, I onlywant to send mail from the phone, wouldnt be bothered about receiving! Gaz
Guest rameses Posted February 7, 2005 Report Posted February 7, 2005 It's not very obvious, and this may not be the best way to do it, but this is how I set mine up: Press 'Start' and go to Messaging. Press 'Select' (It doesn't matter what is highlighted) Press 'Menu' and then '5' for Account Set Up Press 'Menu' again and then '1' for New. If you follow the prompts on the next screens you should have it all set up in a matter of minutes. Hope this helps
Guest filao Posted February 7, 2005 Report Posted February 7, 2005 To POP Yahoo Mail you have to subscribe to Yahoo Express or summat, it's a monthly payment.

[EDIT] forgot to add..if its a yahoo.co.uk address, enter it as .com so that it find the settings auto, then go in and manually change it before your first send.receive HTH Edited February 13, 2005 by Br1an_g
