Guest awarner [MVP] Posted February 7, 2005 Report Posted February 7, 2005 There are a few options you can use, 1, Join MoDaCo Plus for your hotmail and many other extras 2, Izymail is another option
Guest bluesmudge Posted February 10, 2005 Report Posted February 10, 2005 hotmail won't allow you too pop your account - unless you have hotmail plus . . . . . you can check your hotmail by login in at msn.com in PIE

I am using the free internet settings dough, is that the problem? Thanks

I can access my Hotmail via POP using my MoDaCo plus membership with no problems - and very useful it is too! ;)
Guest Driekus Posted May 11, 2005 Report Posted May 11, 2005 I can use hotmail on my smartphone using the Opera browser. No hotmail plus or modaco plus membership needed.
Guest Confucious Posted May 11, 2005 Report Posted May 11, 2005 I can use hotmail on my smartphone using the Opera browser. No hotmail plus or modaco plus membership needed. I can access hotmail through Pocket IE on the phone (through msn mobile) but it's a lot easier to use POP3 access which is what the orriginal question was about (unless I'm wrong?)
Guest rohinsadh1 Posted May 16, 2005 Report Posted May 16, 2005 Use GMAIL as it is pop3 & much faster than hotmail......settings on their site...
Guest Confucious Posted May 16, 2005 Report Posted May 16, 2005 Use GMAIL as it is pop3 & much faster than hotmail......settings on their site... Not sure I'd agree with that, I, along with many other people, have had intermitent problems accessing GMail via POP3. I have both and use my Hotmail account a lot more than my GMail account.
Guest tonijj Posted August 2, 2005 Report Posted August 2, 2005 Just use this app instead: Sunnysoft's Email-application You can have multiple email accounts with POP3 etc, works great for me.
