Another App Unlock Story

Hi Guys,

Got my new c500 last week after upgrading from my trusty mpx200, I have tried to application unlock my c500 for the last 3 hours via the various OTA website links on the forums pages. I have read other peoples dissapointments in trying to unlock their phones and can sympathise with them.

So, I go through the registration pages and give all of the correct details etc... but when i click ok on the last screen, the progress bar at the bottom of the site page stops at half way every time. This is so annoying!! There are no error messages given to say that the site is down at the moment or anything like that, the page just stays half loaded on the screen. I read 'Barnowls' process and that does not work either.

So, I was wondering if anyone has the '.cab' file that they could email to me, or is the '.cab' file specific to each device?

Or, does anyone have a contact at the orange developers website so that they can test the site is working ok? Cos it really is a waste of time posting the site address to everyone if it doesn't work.

i have my c500 locked...i tried ota no luck... i tried No Warez.... it hasn't got the adequate permission.... :cry:

Hi Guys,

Just to update everyone on my problems with the Orange Aplication Unlocking Website.

After 12 Days of trying to unlock my phone OTA from this site, it suddenly happened! I did not get a text telling me that it was unlocked from Orange, just a plain message. When it happened I was connected via activsync and in between the first screen on the Orangewebsite ready to click ok to go to the next page where it asks you to agree etc... it never loaded the next page on my p.c. it kinda froze, weird or what! Anyway i have installed Betaplayer 0.5 and everything seems fine.

But now I find that I cant play some of the small mpeg movies that used to play on my mpx200 via Betapla :lol: yer. I just get audio but no picture, I have tried adjusting the speed and other settings but I cant get it to work properly. Can anyone recomend any software that I can download to make this work?
