got it back from the shop this morning - the girl in the shop said she'd had one but returned it because of the crap battery but when i asked if i could do the same she was a bit cagey about it.

my initial reaction is that i am very pleased with it although when i tried to sync it with my laptop it wiped all the contacts but its possible i made a mistake with the transfer so i've got to enter them all again and back them up with orange back up and maybe i'll try again
