Bluetooth Headset Question

Here's a new one for me at least. I have the pleasure of owning the brand new Jabra BT-800 headset. It's really cool, and has a call-id display as well as neat ringtones and vibrate mode. Placing calls from the handset works fine (audio quality is so-so, but I believe this is a phone issue). Receving calls is a completly different story. The headset will ring once on an incoming call and then buzzzzzzz loudly. It will continue buzzing until I hang up the call. No one can hear me, and I can't hear them. The buzzing is on the BT headset itself and not the phone. Is this caused by some minor incompatibility on the phone? (The jabra site says its compatible).

Btw.. I'm using the latest Orange ROM, and tried it with the Imate ROM with no luck either.

I had much fun with BT headsets which all failed to perform as I'd have liked. Most of them would only 'beep' in a vain attempt to tell me there was a call coming in (their instructions said this was the 'unrecognised' sound, meaning it had no idea what the phone was telling it).

However, none of them behaved as you describe. Each always had decent audio once on a call and each would be able to answer and end a call - but thats all.

I eventually bought a Motorolla HS810 cus it looked cute! I reckon you've got a dodgey headset. Have you tried a different one of the same model?
