Activesync with 2 PCs DOES NOT WORK.

I got my new Audiovox SMT5600 just after New Year, and it is great.

There is a problem with Activesync and my work and home PCs that is

very annoying, however. Here are some notes that I took:

* Sometimes items do not sync between both PCs and phone

* Seems to have something to do with editing notes

* Sequence for one item today:

1. Edited note attached to a task on home PC

2. Synced with phone--changes appeared on phone

3. Went to work, synced with PC there

4. No changes to item on work PC.

5. Changed title of item on phone, hoping this would "force" change on

work PC.

6. Synced again--change in title appeared on work PC, BUT NO CHANGES

IN NOTE APPEARED.

7. Somewhere along the line the new note was replaced on the phone by

the note from the work PC--CHANGES DONE ON THE HOME PC WERE LOST.

So, now I have to make sure when I get home that I back up the "home

PC" copy of the task before I sync, or all changes that I made will be

lost. This is ridiculous--ACTIVESYNC DOES NOT WORK.

I had 7 different Palm OS PDAs over the last 9 years, and this never

happened. Am I doing something wrong here? Has anyone else seen this

problem? Can someone help? Thanks.
