Changing SMS Service Provider on C500

hi all, i've just unlocked my C500 successfully using the V3 unlocker. however, i realised that some parts of the software are still inaccessible: for example, there is no way i can change the SMS service centre. while most SIMs do it automatically, i do travel abroad frequently, and i know for a fact that in some countries, this DOES NOT OCCUR. so i need a way of manually changing the message service centre number. i do not want to be stuck on the UK ones while overseas (the bills are fantastic, as you can imagine =)

I've never tried altering it, but it looks like if you go into

Settings / 1 Phone / 3 Call Options

Then the number for SMS Service Centre comes up in an editable box.

Like I said, I haven't tried altering mine (OK, I'm scared of not being able to change it back!) but let us know if it works next time you go abroad! :lol:

thanks a lot! seems like my problem is solved. it's really strange that this isn't an option under Messaging, but under Call Options :shock: :lol:
