Guest casusbelli2 Posted February 9, 2005 Report Posted February 9, 2005 Hi. This topic may have been answered elsewhere, so sorry if it has; but I have had a really good search honest and have only seen answers about OS X 10.3... Anyway... I can't sync my SPV c500 to my iBook running OS X 10.2.8, although I had over a year of happily doing this with my MPX 200 using PocketMac. But the PocketMac software I have doesn't like the SPV. The first time I gave it a go I could access the phone directory ok (so I could move apps and files between the two), but I couldn't get it to sync my iCal calender or Address Book - which I had come to rely on. I contacted PocketMac support and was eventually told I had to install the latest build of Pocketmac. Which I did. Now nothing works at all. Pocketmac won't even see the phone anymore, and now the phone won't charge from the USB socket. Contacting PM support again I was told that I needed OS X 10.3. I pointed out that the phone was a free upgrade and to upgrade to 10.3 would cost me £95 - and I don't really want to upgrade now when 10.4 will be released in the near-ish future. I also asked if there was a technical reason why support for existing 10.2 customers has been dropped. PM support said they would forward my questions "to the next level of support".... (Have not heard anything since). So, now the questions... Q1. Has anybody else got this configuration to work? Q2. If I go back to the version that was part-working before, how can I sync my Address Book and iCal? Is it possible to simply copy files over? And if so, which and where?? Thanks for reading all this....
