Only allowing me to enter numbers reg code

I am trying to enter a piece of software onto my orange SPV e-200. However it is asking me for a registration name. for some reason my phone is not allowing me to enter letters only numbers. And when I tried to change it it simply will not change. I tried doing a copy and paste but that only gave me an exclamation beep and did not actually enter anything into the registration name line. Can you help me please?

I think your problem is caused by your not having filled in the Owner Name in Settings. Usually this comes up automatically in the field you're looking at. It's a security feature so the software is locked to one owner.

unfortunately this isn't the problem. Owner name is already filled in. Back to the drawing board methinks...

Yes, I can switch between 123, ABC and T9 in other applications. There are a few applications I would like to install, the most important of which is Remote Desktop.
