Right people! I for one am feed up with this dumb ass bluetooth headset issue of not being able to start voice dialing when the phone is locked! For this reason and possibly others i want an update from Orange to fix it now!

So the question begs to be answered... How bad do you want that lost update?

I want it now :lol: , but for Media Player 10! If SMT5600 has it, why don't we have it on the C500?

After all, why should Orange? They've fixed the problems with the C500 (OK, they may have left a couple of tiny ones affecting three users at 2:13am on a Thursday in October or whatever!), so what's in it for Orange to go to the time and expense of making and releasing a new ROM?

If you were Orange's accountant - would you OK spending money on this?

As always, what's "in it" for Orange is happy customers. But that is only true in an idealistic world that does not exist. In reality, Orange has only ever released ROM upgrades when it has been necessary to fix actual problems - this is probably OK'ed by the "accountants" on the basis that it will reduce the cost of customer service and/or replacements and repairs for faulty handsets. As the C500 seems to be pretty much reliable, I would very much doubt we will see another ROM upgrade. There'll probably be another smartphone handset out before that anyway.

Well that just blows goats then! The list of bugs is still quite large, just look at the stick'ied post on this forum.

On another point, has anyone phoned up Orange to report the issue with a locked phone and voice dialing? What did they say? Was it the old 'Yeah we know about that and we can't be arsed to fix it, so shuv it!'?
