Battery Issues

I've had my mpx220 for about a week now, and I love this frickin thing :lol:

I've never owned a mobile phone before, so i have little know-how, and little experience - luckily it's powered by windows and thus it was quick and easy to get a handle on it's features.

I do however have one problem with it- the bateery life is terrible. I don't know if it's my battery in particular (i sincerely hope so) or if it's a general problem, but it only lasts about six hours per charge. Granted, I play with it quite frequently, as many as two of those six hours, sending messages, taking pictures, listening to songs, you know the drill. Is this typical of the device, or is it just my battery? Maybe I'm expecting alot out of the tiny little thing, but it seems to me i should at least be able to make it through a work day without having to plug it in.

How long should the battery last if i play mp3's through my headset all day? Any tips, input, ideas, would be greatly appreciated Thanks :D

9am is not normal for running out of a charge. the most extensive use i've given the phone was taking pictures for like 3-4 hours at a car show. i took like 115 pics and ended up draining a hefty chunk of my battery. so if you're playing mp3s all day then yes, your battery is going to run out in a couple of hours. if you just took it out off the charger and it's been in your pocket, then no. not normal for it to run out in 6 hours.

I've never had a charge last for over a day. I do play with it, but not that much. Esp when its supposed to have 8 days of standby.
