Hello, Iam from australia and where I live we use the 900 MHz, some places 1800MHz bands. I have read on this forum about the MPx200 with the AT & T branded phones that they are only 1800/1900 MHz dual band only, but there are companies in America that sell MPx200 triband with no branding at all, but I have read some post elsewhere that all north american phones are dual band only, even when you view the USA motorola site in the full specs they say it a dual phone 1800/1900. If I was going to buy a phone off these companies which say AT & T never touched them and they are new and unlocked, should I ask them to see if the box has the triband written anywhere or in the user manual or are there iem numbers that comfirms that this is a 900 MHz, one company clains that there phone will work any gsm sim carrier in the work as it is triband.

Also the power adaptor, I have a v303 and on the wall charger/power adaptor it said on it 100-240 volts and 50/60 Hz

I got this from Hong Kong.

Are all chargers multi zoned so they work anywhere in the world but you got to have a sex changer/universial converter plug example USA - Australia power changer to fit in your wall of course to where you live?

Thank You

Welcome to the site

The charger should be ok to use.

Regarding the phone you need to ask where they come from and

how they can confirm they are tri-band.

Thanks for the quick reply, yeah so if do they have to come from North America or Eupore? Some people say that some North American MPx200 work in the entire World, I am guessing that American is flooded with AT & T branded MPx200 and the rest are o.k, I have seen people say they got there phones from T mobiles and say they are true tri band, I also notice if there are other phone carriers like T mobiles, cell, they are not branded by their companies, are there anyways that they can confrim that it is a triband, I email Motorola, they said that we support the 1800/1900 freq, but not on an international product at there location in the US, they also there another band can not be added unfortunlately.

As I said before one company confirms that they there phones work, worldwide but the company price there phone unlocked for $199 and won't sent by USPS but only UPS, they even sell camera which are Pal version (USA using NTSC for TV and video) meaning that they work in the UK or Australia only and alot of there product they sell supports Australia, there just selling in the USA I am guessing. Another company said it should work on the 900 MHz, there price was $170 and they wanted to send UPS but they can send USPS for $33 dollars instead of $78 dollars from UPS.

I am not sure if I am allow to mention company names of product selling on this site.

Thanks

only AT&t MPX200 are dual band, and all others are triband there are a just few first AT&T version that are tri-band so to be safe i suggest you not to buy AT&T branded MPX200. if you do get a dual band phone, it will do work in your country but you will suffer from low signal as only in 1800 area that you will get signal. like here in the philippines all at&t brand mpx200 got very low signal.
