Guest bluesmudge Posted February 10, 2005 Report Posted February 10, 2005 Had C500 for less that a month and it already feels like i've had it for a year! - the keypad particularly 7,8,9,*,o, # creek like mad -and appear to have been pushed into the phone - which is annoying and even more annoying -though it has to be the smallest phone complaint ever! is. .. . . . the back cover (over the battery) bounces! its inplace and theres enough give in it for it to bounce. when im holding it one handed trying to write a text you can feel it moving and its annoys me to hell - i've put some paper in behind it it stopped for a while now its back - Do you think orange will replace it for free as its under a month - or are theses things too small? bluesmudge
Guest scottishdave Posted February 15, 2005 Report Posted February 15, 2005 Oh my God. I thought I was the only person with a moving back cover. I too have some card under it, not brilliant but it stops the cover from moving around. I look like a bit of a chump if I need to change my Sim over though. You can see people looking at me wondering what the hell was hidden under the cover. The problem that annoys me the most is my loose nav button. I'll get round to fixing it one day I suppose.
Guest tudor Posted February 15, 2005 Report Posted February 15, 2005 Mine moves too. It wasn't like this from the beginning though. No idea what changed, as there's no sign of cracks or wearing.
Guest jporch316 Posted February 15, 2005 Report Posted February 15, 2005 The Motorola MPX200 had the same problem - there was a tiny overhang of plastic (retainer lip) to hold the sim in place. You couldnt even see it was broken unlessd you really looked hard. The only way to fix this was a piece of folded paper
