SPV E100 in Spain and in Spanish

Hi all!

I am new here but I have already read many posts regarding this phone.

This week I bought an unlocked orange SPV E100 in ebay and I have some questions, as I have read a lot about ROMs, certs :roll: , and other strange terms, hehe. The phone comes from the UK and I live in Spain.

1. - How will my phone work in Spain? The phone is unlocked, so there are no problems regarding network simlock, but the phone is not designed to work with the spanish operators. Will I have any problem?

2. - What are these ROMs and certs? I have heard something about "decert", but I don't know what is this. Which ROM is better for me in Spain? Is there any possibility to use Windows Mobile 2002 in spanish language?

3. - Any other suggestions are welcome! :lol:

1, You should not have a problem with networks.

2, I do not know of a ROM for your phone that has Spanish support unfortunately.

If you have the Orange ROM you will need to application unlock the phone to use unsigned software.

3, Have a read of the FAQ section of the site as there are some good guides to things you can do with your phone :lol:

Ok, then, if I can't have it in Spanish, what about German? :(

Which is the best ROM for the German language?

(BTW, as I am reading and reading more old posts, now I think I start to understant what's all about :lol: )
