Guest shaun Posted February 11, 2005 Report Posted February 11, 2005 (edited) I have had a search of the forums and it appears that the M2000 can't voice dial over blue tooth (using Fonix or MS commander). Is this still the current state of play? Does any one know how to make the M2000 legal in the car? Appart from turning it off! Also does anyone know of a car charger which will work, and a suitable car holder? thanks shaun Edited February 11, 2005 by shaun
Guest alanrenouf Posted February 22, 2005 Report Posted February 22, 2005 Does anybody know if you can add voice tags to contacts so that you can use a bluetooth handset, cant find it anywhere. Am I missing something ?
Guest fraser Posted February 22, 2005 Report Posted February 22, 2005 Microsoft voice can do that. Just say "call ". Not sure if it works over a bluetooth headset, not got one yet.
Guest xda-rocks Posted February 22, 2005 Report Posted February 22, 2005 You can NOT dial from the headset, but the vocedial does work through the internal mike and then switches to headset once the phone has initiated dialing.

But if you have your phone rigged up on your dash in some way and program a button to initiate the voice-listening software then this will work. -Press the button to engage voice command mode. -press and hold the button on bt headset for a short time (longer than a single press but not as long as turning it off) til you hear some white noise - this engages the bt headset with the phone. -Speak into bt headset your command. e.g. Call Fred Mobile -The command will be performed. things to note, it takes a bit of practice to guage how long to press for so dont try this for the first time in your car!! also sometimes the headset will go quiet between the white noise to send the command and when the phone actually starts dialling the call. I've managed to do this on my blue angel with a Jabra BT200/250 (can't remember which it was and dont have packaging handy to check) Not true voice dialling as such, but quite close to it.
