Guest Matty.PW Posted February 12, 2005 Report Posted February 12, 2005 Hi, I could really do with getting a Music/Media Player application that has a nice EQ (7band+ would be good), and that also supports WMA files (for their small size). I've seen a few media players that will play MP3, Ogg etc, but not WMA (oddly enough on an MS phone), that have nice EQs. Any app that has both?? Thanks
Guest Matty.PW Posted February 18, 2005 Report Posted February 18, 2005 Ok, i just found BetaPlayer!! Damn good player it is too :( Plays WMA, MP3, VBR MP3, Xvid, DivX, WMV, etc etc. and has a nice big EQ aswell as loads of other settings, ideal! Just in case anyone else wants to know

Guest Matty.PW Posted February 19, 2005 Report Posted February 19, 2005 I think its damn good. Its far better than WMP for music playing. It has playlist feature, you can add files easily to the playlist, and you can fastforward, rewind, skip, easy as. I think its great!

I don't hear a difference but I have cheap headphones.
Guest pd.ryder Posted February 27, 2005 Report Posted February 27, 2005 I've been using PocketMusic for ages. It doesn't support WMA presently, but I keep nagging at their support services and they tell me it's on the way. There's an EQ in there (7 bands I think) plus many, many, presets. The biggest problem here is clipping and stuttering of the mp3 once I make any attempt at lifting the bass end. I have complained to PocketMind but all's they advise is exiting all other apps cus its a resource issue. Even after a restart and only PM running, the clipping still occurs. Boo, and hurry up with the WMA support......
