i just seen a review about the tmobile MDA IV and I wanted to know if the MPX300 would be better? the MDA has UMTS which is a plus a bigger screen higher pixelation, but I like the fact that the mpx has dual hinges, to open both ways. how would u answer the MDA? I am leaning towards the MDA more cause of the higher feature, but heard there is goin to be a better MPX300? a second version? is this tru? did anyone read the review about the MDA? its on GSMarena.com that is where I seen it! I want both phones too! if I can, but if I had to chose, I need help here, or write your own review or description about these 2 smart phones

Ok, the MDA IV isn't out yet and no reviews exist, only previews. The MPX on the other hand (the 300 bit was dropped ages back) HAS been reviewed a few times and was slated. As a result Motorola haven't released it yet with the suggestions they may soup it up before even attempting a launch.

Even if the MPX is majorly souped up it will NOT be a patch on the MDA IV as you are talking about an old device against a future device (and a large device compared to a compact device!). The MPX range has been a disaster, in not releasing anything ontime due to quality issues, since the original MPX200 which was actually excellent... Did you know the MPX220 was once touted to be the holy grail of Smartphones? Before it's size and issues became apparent.

The specs don't even begin to compare. Last thing I heard, the MPX was going to sport a 200mhz processor and 32meg memory! That's extremely poor for a Pocket PC PE! The MDA IV is likely to have at least a 520mhz processor and at least 128meg.

Make your own decision.
