Guest kwyeung Posted February 13, 2005 Report Posted February 13, 2005 Hi! I'm a xPhone user from Hong Kong, and I have my original headset damaged, and I had search around the mall and find no one are selling the O2 headset. I saw some threads there are converter that enable the use of standard Discman / Machine headphone / speaker jack. But I'm wondering any solution for me if I want to make a handfree phone call not just MP3?
Guest squall Posted February 13, 2005 Report Posted February 13, 2005 there are many headsets on sale you can use. Im not sure where you can get them in hong kong, but you need a headset with a 2.5 mm jack plug.
Guest kwyeung Posted February 14, 2005 Report Posted February 14, 2005 U mean generic headset with 2.5mm jack plug will work fine? Or will some other mobile brand headset will be compatible? Thx.
Guest mentol Posted February 15, 2005 Report Posted February 15, 2005 As long as the headset has 2,5 mm it will work. I even bought an adapter 2,5mm -> 3,5mm so i can use a better headset
Guest chrisc28 Posted February 19, 2005 Report Posted February 19, 2005 I use a standard Sony Ericsson P900 stereo headset. It sounds much better than the ones supplied by O2.
Guest pd.ryder Posted February 25, 2005 Report Posted February 25, 2005 The iPaq website sell 2.5>3.5 converters for about £7 and I believe they ship world-wide. The MoDaCo shop sells them for £8 incl. a pair of headphones but I think they're only UK delivery.
