Right,

Can some one explain this to me>?

I can pair the phone (C500) with the PC, but the microsoft b*llox active sync can't find it.

There nust be an easier way to make it work than the guide?

I can't get it to work anyway as active sync won't acknowledge there is a com port, well it says they're available, but won't use them even in the device settings in and outgoing are on 7 & 8

Someone please explauin this. This doesn't make any sense!
