O2 PAYG

Just switched to o2 PAYG with the 300texts and 1meg gprs,and have had the settings sent to me from the imate website,but when i go and try to view a webpage like google it just stops there and doeant seem to view the page at all, itll view the links to o2 but not a website,i had it working fine on orange but now ive switched it wont load the pages ,as any one got theres working on the Payg o2 network without any problems. if they could share there setup,Thanks

I would expect that the settings are same as for GPRS on an Smartphone. Sorry, havent got a Jam yet, but if you enter the settings from here this might help you.

From what i have learnt, the O2 PAYG doesnt have all the ports open, and using 8080 is the proxy for port 80 (normal http - ie internet) but this doesnt allow for the other ports (such as pop3/smtp/messenger)

Ok thanks for the info matey,If i do figure out how to do it ill post up the settings,but dont seem to be getting any closer,it works for wap pages but not for IE pages.
