Multiple concurrent bluetooth connections

Sorry if this is a stupid question, but before getting a Jam with TomTom, I would like to know that i can use both the bluetooth GPS sat-nav and a bluetooth headset at the same time. I dont want to take a call, and then find that the GPS has lost contact, and i end up in the middle of nowhere!!

You can normally do this on Smartphones so i'd imagine your Jam would be ok.
