The question is will it work with the phone?

It mentions CE but that does not mean it will definately work with the

Windows Smartphone format.

I remember when it first came out a bunch of people got it. I think two got it to work with their phone. You have to get the newer version of the keyboard, there were two identical ones, but one would work and one wouldn't. And use the newer driver. I would suggest just spending a little more and getting their bluetooth keyboard. I know it works as I am using it. It works really well.

On the site it says there are drivers for both MPx200 and SPV/E100. This looks good because it means you could use the keyboard at the same time as a serial passthru connection.

Please may you give me details of how to use a bluetooth keyboard with a mpx200?

Sorry, you are right. I don't even look at what forums posts are in anymore. This is the best bet for the MPx200. Would be interested to know if you get it, and if it works.

Is it more likely to work with wm2003 or wm2002?

From the website:

Chainpus publish 2 types driver on the website. One driver is 1.22 version, another is 2.30 version.

Should your device is unlisted (sic) but is running an OS listed below, this driver may or may not support them.

Microsoft Pocket PC/Pocket PC Phone edition/Smart Phone 2000, 2002 or 2003.

It then lists two different models of Smartphone as supported with the drivers.

MiTAC Mio8380 V 1.13

MiTAC Mio8380 V 2.0

Motorola MPx200 V 2.0

Orange SPV e100 V 2.0

O2 Xphone V 2.0

Samsung i600 V 2.0

It says those phones have been tested, so I guess on your own head be it. You can download the drivers off the site, I don't know if you could download the driver and test it to see if it loads before buying the keyboard?

Hi,

Somone just mentioned above that they are using a blue tooth keyboard with the MPX 200? how does that work without a bluetooth adapter?

I was mistaken, and didn't realize the original post was related to the MPx200. I am using a BT keyboard with my SMT5600. There is no way to add BT to the MPx200. Sorry to confuse you.
