Tmobile MDA compact (aka s100/Jam) some questions

Hey u guyz!

just got the mda compact 2 days ago with the following versions:

Rom version: 1.01.00 WWE

ROM date: 10/24/04

Radio version: 1.00.10

protocol version: 1337.36

extROM version: 1.01.124 WWE

(complete english system - windows mobile 2003 2nd edition)

Well,

first of all, is there an update for this software? if so, where can i get it and how do i install it?

second 'radio version'??? do i have a radio on it? if so, how and where??

third, is there a dutch T9 version? where can i get it and how to install?

fourth, with creating a new text message i can only see the number and not the name, how do i solve this problem?

Final, any suggestions for cool software to install? where do i download it?

I know, all these questions, questions, questions, ah well, i am a n00b, but a forum is for helping ppl ain't it?

Hello, my numbers are

My version nos

Rom 1.01.00 WWE

Rom date 10/21/04 (jeez thats old! 3 days older than yours)

radio version (1.00.10)

Protocol version 1337.36

extROM version 1.01.128 WWE (seems slightly newer than yours?)

1) I know of no updates.

2) Radio refers to the transmitter/reciever part of the phone responsible for calls/texts etc as it uses radio waves of the microwave frequency (i believe). Unfortunately it's nothing to do with music :lol:

I also have the later WWE version.

Also - am i the only one really tempted to get the memory upgrade? After being used to the 128mb on my m2000 the 64 on the mda seems really limiting!
