Guest Chimpanzee Posted February 15, 2005 Report Posted February 15, 2005 I was wandering if anyone knows of a program that will convert a video file to make it a smaller, sensible size for the PPC. i tried using windows media encoder but you can only make wmv's which are a bit naf. i want to use the device to it's full capacity (mainly just to show it off! ) so it would be good to have mpg's or avi's. thanks in advance
Guest fraser Posted February 15, 2005 Report Posted February 15, 2005 VirtualDub is a great free tool for encoding video. You choose the output video and audio codecs from the usual Windows codec system, set the output resolution and save it. You can also cut segments and append other clips. Folk set up predefined settings files for encoding in the best format for Smartphones, I'd guess that someone might be able to offer similar ones for PPC resolutions.

It's a fast paced action sequence with varied coulor and sounds. It really shows off the M2000's capabilities.
