Guest Battletux Posted February 15, 2005 Report Posted February 15, 2005 HI, I got my c500 yesterday lunch time and i've been trying to app unlock it almost all nite and it just wont do it! The orange website just keeps crashing and timeing out, and the app unlocker program has registered my phone and then just does nothing. The only options in it are to register, start the lock or exit, no option to unlock?? i left it for a few minutes whille it was doing what ever it does on the web, but nothing. Any one got any ideas?
Guest scottishdave Posted February 15, 2005 Report Posted February 15, 2005 Keep trying with the Orange site. I eventually got it to work.
Guest Battletux Posted February 15, 2005 Report Posted February 15, 2005 Finally got it! It took 10minutes on the app unlocker before it did it. I hope my GPRS bill isn't too big after all my attempts :|

Regards
Guest Confucious Posted February 20, 2005 Report Posted February 20, 2005 If it's not Orange you can unlock using a passthrough connection.
Guest fschlage Posted February 20, 2005 Report Posted February 20, 2005 (edited) If it's not Orange you can unlock using a passthrough connection. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Ok, now I'm connected with my passthrough connection (i can open web pages with no GPRS connection) but what is going to happen when i'm running the register app. ? It is saying registered : YES, and Lock : Running (and it has my phone no. and IMEI no.) When I use the "Launch Lock" it is saying "Starting Lock" for a while and then nothing ? Regards  Edited February 20, 2005 by fschlage
Guest martin Posted February 20, 2005 Report Posted February 20, 2005 It is saying registered : YES, and Lock : Running <{POST_SNAPBACK}>You are using an application to register your phone on their database which you have already done i.e 'Registered : Yes'. Now you should be able to activate the app unlock using their website. http://developer.orangews.com/orgspv/comdef.aspx
