Guest scottishdave Posted February 15, 2005 Report Posted February 15, 2005 7 hours of silence. I presume there isn't one.
Guest MoRFLeZ Posted February 15, 2005 Report Posted February 15, 2005 There is only one Telnet client for SPV ... it was made by bodenhoff months and months ago. And it wasn't very good .. it was an early beta version. But it might do the trick for you, if you don't need to do anything fancy. Bodenhoff's page is no longer online. But you can still download the program on www.airfagev.com (look under Utilities for Telnet) I don't know if there are any Java Telnet applications out there.

Other than that, there's just that one VERY limited app previously mentioned. You'd probably do better with VNC if you can do run the service on the server.
Guest scottishdave Posted February 16, 2005 Report Posted February 16, 2005 I'll have a look on airfagev. Thanks for the advice. Anybody out there fancy making a good telnet client?

SSH definately works, but I haven't tried it with Telnet. Don't see why it shouldn't though. You may want to download the latest Beta version (1.3.8 ) 'cause there are a lot of changes since the latest proper release (1.3.2).
Guest scottishdave Posted February 17, 2005 Report Posted February 17, 2005 I shall give it a go tonight. Cheers
