Hi guys im using an MSI bluetooth key with software version 1.2.2.4 and i can create a partnership with my jam and it connects perfectly and i can browse the net on the jam no problems, but after about 2 mins the connection just drops for no reason and the jam will try and connect to gprs to continue browsing the web.

If i go and try and connect again from the jam via activesync -> tools -> connect via bluetooth it comes up with opening port and then pops up on the screen that it cant find the port and that another app maybe using it,but nothing is.

Does anyone else have the same problems and if so how did yo fix it?

Ive also tried to use the bluetooth software / drivers that come with SP2 but cant seem to get it to make a partnership at all.

Any ideas would be great ,thanks in advance

Same problem here, but happened when i tried to transfer a large file. BT kicks out on my pc and the serial port is lost to activesync. The only way i can reactivate it is to kill AS, disable then re-enable the serial port in hardware manager and then fire AS back up. Annoying. This is a Belkin 100m dongle with XPSP2 BT software...

I uninstalled my Belkin software, and removed all pairings form my pc and phone. Then in SP2 BT settings i added an incomming COM port (no specific device specified) and paired with my PC from my phone. Then go to Activesync connection settings and select the correct COM port. Back on the device tap the BT symbol on the bottom of the today screen, devices tab, new... Pair it off then on AS on the phone options > connect by BT.

I'll lay that out a little better if it doesn't make sense...
