Frozen QTEK 8020 after ActiveSync

When I have used the ActiveSync via USB cable to my laptop for updating calendar and mail from Outlook and pulled the cable out to use the phone again...it has frozen and requires the battery to be removed to restart.

This is a recent development. I have downloaded the 3.7 and 3.8 releases (as it became available) but they have only brought problems.

Any ideas or help appreciated. Thanks.

You may have a registry error causing the freezing, sounds like you may need to try a hard reset .

Thanks...As a workaround I established a connection to our Exchange server via GPRS and the 'freeze' has disappeared.

However, another small problem has arisen. Unless I choose to synchronise Manually (ie: Scheduled), it prompts me for an SMS address...why ? This means that I cannot auto-synch with Exchange but at least I am able to do it manually.

Any ideas on this one ?
