Guest slinkey Posted February 16, 2005 Report Posted February 16, 2005 hi all, i've got an spv c500 and would love to know if it's possible to save pages or immages etc from the web on this phone? you know, on the computer you can save a whole page of something to read off line and i wondered if the same was possible using the c500. i mean it would be pretty handy to be able to download an article and read offline rather than having to remain connected and run up bigger and bigger phone bills! thanks for your help. slinkey
Guest slinkey Posted February 17, 2005 Report Posted February 17, 2005 ................so i guess not then!!!
Guest shack77 Posted February 17, 2005 Report Posted February 17, 2005 I think on Orange you only get billed by what you download - don't know about the other.
Guest shack77 Posted February 17, 2005 Report Posted February 17, 2005 (edited) You can save gifs whilst on the net. This kind of stuff is stored on storage/windows/profiles/guest/temporary internet files/content.ies/31SENELP and the other three folders, C1QRGT6J, E5WV4XAT and GA1QBAR1. This can be accessed by your file manager or multimedia album, using the "change folder" function. The Shack Edited February 17, 2005 by shack77

You have to go the page you want, end the connection, and then browse to temp internet folders and hope the picture is in there. It would be nice if there was an easier way. Anyone used Opera mobile? What's that like?
