Guest ndep Posted February 17, 2005 Report Posted February 17, 2005 the storage on cellphone is rather limited anyway. or, how to uninstall the default installed theme on phone, and to uninstall the theme that comes as a zip package with only .xml and gifs in it?
Guest Disco Stu Posted February 17, 2005 Report Posted February 17, 2005 You cannot uninstall the default themes as they are part of the ROM. If you installed a theme by pasting the xml / gifs into \Storage \Application Data \Home then you can just delete the files after deselecting the theme in Settings. There is software available for using backgrounds from the storage card (Jeyo Personaliser ?) but not complete themes. These files are needed at start-up and the phone doesn't always access the card correctly on reboot.

Guest Disco Stu Posted February 17, 2005 Report Posted February 17, 2005 Delete them with either a file explorer or ActiveSync. Or have I missed your point ?
Guest ndep Posted February 18, 2005 Report Posted February 18, 2005 Delete them with either a file explorer or ActiveSync. Or have I missed your point ? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> i mean... if there are 50 themes in my home, each theme has 10 gifs and one xml, that makes over 500 files. could you make out which gifs belong to which xml easily? I am not capable of that....
Guest Disco Stu Posted February 18, 2005 Report Posted February 18, 2005 50 themes ?!? Your phone memory must be very low and you're putting yourself at risk of suffering the dreaded partial reset. I would delete the lot and start again from scratch.
