Guest awalt Posted February 17, 2005 Report Posted February 17, 2005 I found the following in the regsitry on the Mpx 220 - REGEDIT4 [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ControlPanel\Volume] "Key"=dword:00000002 "Mute"=dword:00000007 "Screen"=dword:00000002 "Volume"=dword:99999999 So there is a Hex value of all 9s for volume. I made one brief try, not having a clue what this does, and changed it to a 5 and all 9s - power cycled the phone, and I didn't seem to see any difference when I made a call. So I changed it back. It doesn't look like a level of any type, more like a status or something. I have the 1.30 firmware, is this value the same in the prior firmware? Maybe there is a way through firmware to adjust the max volume on the phone. While it's acceptable to me, I wish it was a littl louder for noisier areas (like the old Mpx was)
Guest jleecong Posted February 17, 2005 Report Posted February 17, 2005 Those are not the correct keys for volume. http://www.howardforums.com/showthread.php...threadid=558597
