Guest Alex_le_brit Posted February 17, 2005 Report Posted February 17, 2005 (edited) Just a quick thought for those of you with a bluetooth phone, and a cordless keyboard on your PC. If like me you want to use your phone as a "micro laptop" round your house, but you're fed up with using the keypad to type things on Agile Messenger etc, and you've got a cordless keyboard for your PC then here's a way to use it. Just go to Remote Display Control and dowload the program. Included in the download is an HTML help which explains all you need to know. Install Remote Display on your phone, and then connect it up using bluetooth with your internet connections set to pass-thru. Now you have a display of your phone's screen on your PC and your keyboard can be used to control the phone. Of course your keyboard is wireless, so you can now take it and your phone around the house (assuming the signals will pick up) and use your PC keyboard to control your phone via your PC. OK so it's not that easy to do, not portable at all, and has limited range, but if you want to sit in the garden using MSN it works a treat. Edited February 17, 2005 by Alex_le_brit
