Guest Alex_le_brit Posted February 17, 2005 Report Posted February 17, 2005 (edited) very simple question, but I can't seem to find an answer. When I go to a "link heavy page" such as http://www.radiofeeds.co.uk/ it takes an age to scroll down, as PIE has to work it's way down the links. Is there any way, or any other browser that would enable a fast scroll using the scroll bar on the right of the screen. Edited February 17, 2005 by Alex_le_brit
Guest Alex_le_brit Posted February 18, 2005 Report Posted February 18, 2005 So that would be a no then?
Guest pietta Posted February 18, 2005 Report Posted February 18, 2005 im not sure what youre saying 'have to scroll through the links'. i dont. when u press down on your joystick it should scroll the page down. when you press right or left then it scrolls through the links
Guest chucky.egg Posted February 18, 2005 Report Posted February 18, 2005 it takes an age to scroll down, as PIE has to work it's way down the links. Yeah, that's how it works. I think that technically it scrolls the page, but stops at each link, and "No" there's no way AFAIK to scroll without stopping at links

Do any of the other browsers have a fast scrol function?

Do any of the other browsers have a fast scrol function? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> PIE scrolls painfully slowly regardless of how many links there are. Opera scrolls much faster. "Up" and "Down" will scroll a few lines at a time, but quickly. "Left" and "Right" will scroll the links.
