don't know if this has been documented, but my backlight resets itself to zero

after being in standby for a while

ie I cannot see who is calling me

which is irksome

as I'm sure you will agree

I get a problem where my backlight just goes off and won't go back on again. i don't know if thats the same problem your having. going to the backlight settings and checking a tick box off and on usually sorts it.

Normally if this happens for me pressing and holding the power button for a few seconds seems to put it back on.

It sort of has a dual function, a quick press and the power goes on/off, a long press and the backlight goes on/off.
