E100 Help

I'm having major trouble with my SPV E100 when I try to turn it on all that happens is the orange start up screen comes up and it stays on there. Nothing else happens the power light doesn't even flash. Please Please Please Please Please Please Please Please Please Please Please Please Please Please Please Please Please Please Please Please Help. :lol:

Have you tried leaving the phone in this state (preferably plugged in) for a while? If a major error occurs within the phone, it will self-reset (in effect do what it does when it's first switched on after a hard reset). The phone will spend the time reconstructing it's IPSM or Storage folder. This can take the little dude about 10-15 minutes sometimes.

It doesn't happen often, but it can happen. Other than that, it could be worth forcing a hard-reset and then leaving the phone on to set itself back up.

Tried that but no go it's really buggin me I can't figure it out.

Sorry mate, do you mean you tried leaving it without success, or you weren't able to do a hard reset?

If you're not able to get it to do a hard reset, get hold of a copy of the Orange update ROM for the phone (I know www.coolsmartphone.com has the link on it's home page) and re-flash the ROM onto the phone. This will have the same effect as a hard reset but can work if you can't get the phone to accept a hard reset via the keys.

Tried doing the hard reset a few times while the rom update was downloading and on the third attempt it worked. Thanks for your help.
