Orange backup from e200 to m2000

hello again - back yet another question :-)

I read there were problems using orange backup for e200 and restoring to e500. Are there any known issues with Orange backup from e200 and then restoring that backup to an m2000? Anyone done it successfully?

Worked pretty much OK with mine.

I only use it for Contacts and Appointments, and it restored them with only one (very minor) issue - All Day Appointments on the E200 were restored on the M2000 as timed appointments running from 00:00:00 to 23:59:59 (no idea why, as the M2000 calendar supports all-dayers too)

i used jeyo mobile companion on export my txt messages and call history and then imported them on to my m2000, i now have txt messages on my m2000 dating back from over a year ago. genius.

i did the activesync for my contacts and calendar etc

ah ok cool - sounds promising. I really only care about my contacts list so I will give it a shot tonight!

Can you not just use ActiveSync? I updated my SPV mark I contacts onto my new M2000 last night, it was a breeze.

I was supprised to find my backup account from a year ago was still active when I got the phone. Both backup and activesync worked fine.
