Guest Alex_le_brit Posted February 18, 2005 Report Posted February 18, 2005 Having read a report on a Beta test of SyChips WIFI cards with an E200, I mailed them to ask if they would be commercially available, and if there would ever be such a thing for Smartphone 2002. They've gotten back to me today to say they should be launched soon for 2003, but that they weren't developping anything for the 2002 OS. They did however refer me to THIS SITE the B-Square SDIO Card stack reference, and there clear as day on page two is written : System Requirements: Development Platforms • Microsoft Windows 2000 • Microsoft Windows XP Professional Development Environments • Pocket PC 2002/2003 OEM Adaptation Kit • Smartphone 2002/2003 OEM Adaptation Kit Supported Operating Systems: • Windows Mobile • Pocket PC 2002/2003/2003 Second Edition • Smartphone 2002/2003/2003 Second Edition Admitedly I have no idea what the rest of those pages meant, but maybe there's someone on here who does? It does seem to suggest that an SDIO Card could be supported on 2002 though.

Guest Alex_le_brit Posted February 25, 2005 Report Posted February 25, 2005 the problem is with phones with mini sd slots  didnt see it mention that <{POST_SNAPBACK}> You can just see everyone with a C500 bidding on E200's if the SDIO cards actually come out.
Guest Foxy2k Posted February 25, 2005 Report Posted February 25, 2005 Thats why I'm keeping mine instead of trading in!
Guest shack77 Posted February 25, 2005 Report Posted February 25, 2005 Glad I kept my E200 now!! Can't you somehow plug a self-powered card reader into the bottom of the C500?
