Guest Uisdean Posted February 18, 2005 Report Posted February 18, 2005 I was trying to hang on till these came onto Orange and get it as an upgrade, but I've decided I just can't wait any longer! I want one now! This obviously means gettin git sim free or on either Voda, O2 or T-mobile. I know that they all put their little logos etc on them (I have a sugar cube at the ready) but I also read somewhere that there are some differences with the operation of the device too - like call timers and text counters. How easy is it to put the ROM from a different carrier onto it (I'm presuming that it can be done)? Or are the differences to small to care about? The best deal I've found so far seems to be on ukphoneshop.com (aka shopmobiles.com, aka zeewee.com and goodness knows what else) going with T-mobile on relax 100 which works out at about £240 overall. Are Tmobile like orange, littering the thing with logos, splash screens and their own links and stuff?

Guest Uisdean Posted February 18, 2005 Report Posted February 18, 2005 good point, think I might just do that! Where can I get the orange stuff? is it just a matter of manually inputting the settings, or is there an easier way?

Guest jklondon Posted February 20, 2005 Report Posted February 20, 2005 sorry being thick but how do I install the file ?!
Guest wardy Posted February 21, 2005 Report Posted February 21, 2005 sorry being thick but how do I install the file ?! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Copy it over to your device ( My Documents is Good) via activesync . When copied just run explorer on your device, click on the file and it will do the rest. Its always worth doing a soft reset after an installation . That's it your done. This is an Imate download , if you register on their site www.clubimate.com , you can download ROMs and Carrier settings .
