Guest vanessa Posted February 18, 2005 Report Posted February 18, 2005 Want to give us some free advice about what to look for/where to invest Lucie's Child Trust Fund voucher?!!! I mean... obviously daddy will want to hand her over MoDaCo on her 18th birthday but, if she finds out we've also unwisely invested on her behalf, I'm a little worried that she may not return from the pub that night! ;-) Thanks, Vanessa. x.
Guest Pondrew Posted February 19, 2005 Report Posted February 19, 2005 (edited) Gosh, is she already that big? Still remember the thread started here to congratulate you both on her birth. Can only have been about 6months ago... :( Oh, and I'm afraid I wouldn't want to recommend any investments in case they went sour. Wouldn't want Paul revoking my Plus privileges! Edited February 19, 2005 by Pondrew
Guest Disco Stu Posted February 19, 2005 Report Posted February 19, 2005 I'm an accountant but don't handle investment advice and so I'd also be wary of giving out any specific advice. What I usually tell people is that your first port-of-call should be your bank manager. Although banks have their own products to sell they can take you through the basic options and you should get a free consultation. As I'm not a registered Independant Financial Adviser I'm not authorised to tell you this, but the MoDaCo Lottery Fund is hot right now
